Bundoodles
An alter-ego of sorts, my Bundoodle. A character design that sprang from my imgination on a chalkboard at an Assoc of Illustrators "Doodlejam" back in 2018 at Offset Dublin.
They're an unassuming little creature, living a most Instagrammable illustrated life that I let run free on their own Insta @thebundoodles.
I find inspiration in small quiet moments of everyday life and pay tribute to my heroes in design, creativity and education. I have a sneaking suspicion Bundoodle might like to be an 'influencer' and they now appear on Redbubble.
My process often starts with small pencil sketches in a sketchbook where I pitch ideas, poses and situations for Bundoodle and then I take that rough sketch to my tablet, and digitally sketch and colour it, adding small details along the way. The finished ones get posted to Instagram, to tell a life story story tile by tile.
